We waited for quite a while to be seen to and no one seemed to know we were booked in... The staff seemed to think we hadn't booked? But rather than look into it just asked us '...do you have any proof?' There were also no robes so we had to wear our wet towels everywhere which was a shame. The facilities were good and I enjoyed my massage but again, at afternoon tea. We sat down and weren't seen to and when we asked - 'yeah but did you book?' Yes. 'You know the spa day is separate and you have to pay for afternoon tea' yes we did and we booked it. Rather than again, looking into it - the man seemed a little accusatory. Not happy with this. Shame about the staff and their organisation as the day was great other than this.

Excellent value for overnight spa break, Staff very friendly, room very clean, great Swedish massage. Downside is spa looking in a bit tired, otherwise great overall

Therapist was brilliant, professional, calm and just right. Reception staff ok but unclear on voucher and what was included - tried to charge me for treatments I'd already paid for initially! Lunch on the voucher said 2 courses and a glass of prosecco but restaurant staff said one course and I have to pay for drinks. Again I had to argue for 2 courses and managed to get a glass of wine included. Swimming pool and gym not included but spa itself was lovely and treatments faultless. V good for so last minute but so many voucher options I think the venue were confused!

We stayed overnight on one of the £99 offers which included full use of spa facilities as much as one desired, a 25 minute treatment, [the Swedish massage was lovely], evening meal, [3 course and delicious], lovely en-suite double room which was very clean and spacious with tea/coffee provided, tv, hair dryer, iron, and an all you can eat breakfast offering full English/cereals/continental etc..... all in all an excellent stay and fantastic value for money.... we will definitely be back for more..... EXCELLENT
