As this venue is local to me it is ideal for a down time chill day, We arrived and had breakfast and coffee in the bar overlooking the pool then went into the spa tub to relax then had a swim then spa tub, fabulous facilities to have a relaxing shower and get ready with no children round our feet bliss, we then went to the bar for a leisurely lunch food is fabulous we were very chilled at the end of the day. really enjoyed the experience.
Fantastic venue, lovely grounds, friendly staff, overall a great spa day. We purchased indulgence spa day for 2 and enjoyed using the facilities, including the pool, Jacuzzi and gym. We also had lunch in the Tempo bar which was ok.
It provides a variety of activities in a pleasant surroundings. Helpful staff. Went for the day and we were able to and play tennis, used the gym. Definitely would go there again.
This treat was for my mum and myself. After an introduction and orientation we started our pamper in the Tempo bar with a drink of our choice (non alcoholic). Preparing ourselves for the gym in the ample changing rooms, we did have a bit of a problem with the lockers but after some help we set off to carefully have a go on all the gym equipment. Everyone was really friendly and willing to help and advise if you wanted it. Next -after another change-the pool (its worth looking at the website to see if there are activities in it - we could have joined the hydro if we wanted to, but you can time your day around it). In the pool area is a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi (so you don't have to wander all over in your cozzy) A shower is next to the steam room, recommended between each activity. The changing room has showers (with shampoo, shower gel etc provided)
After a delicious lunch at the café (this is extra) we had our inclusive 1/2 hour treatment, choosing a back massage. The ladies are lovely and worked their magic in calm environment , leaving us to come around in our own time and provided water afterwards. Our Wahanda treat stopped here but I must add we also had a facial paid separately. This was devine - so relaxing. The best nights sleep I've had for months followed. Well worth a visit for a treat - remember to look at the site for pool times and book your treatment beforehand as advised.
I visited with my mum for her birthday. She loved it. Shame we had to walk through the cafe to get to the health & beauty area but we had a great day. Not sure the bamboo brought anything extra to the massage.
