Had a terrible haircut/hairdressing experience here before Christmas with a male hairdresser when I went in for a standard cut and blow dry. First he washed my hair in the roughest manner I have ever experienced! It was awful and thoroughly unpleasant - After a day at work this was meant to be a relaxing treat! Moving on to the haircut, I asked for layers and an overall trim, nothing special, but what I got was no layers (which on thick hair like mine meant it looked horrible with no shape) and hair that was unevenly cut with one side longer than the other! I had to have another haircut to correct the hideous mess he had created (where the hairdresser told me in detail about how terrible his cut was!) He was also huffing and puffing all the way through, and snapped at me if I gave him any instruction! Err it's my hair! Also his grasp of English was limited which wasn't great for communicating instructions, not ideal in a hairdressing environment. I've been to zillions of hairdressers in London in my lifetime and this was the worst experience hands down. Absolute waste of time and money! Go elsewhere!
