We had an amazing mini break at Brooklands! the hotel was gorgeous and the rooms were very luxurious! the outdoor hot tub was good fun and the treatments were amazing. We all enjoyed the afternoon tea too. I would def suggest you take a break here :O)
The hotel itself was very comfortable, the rooms were gorgeous and the spa area was nice. We were a little disappointed there wasn't a pool at the hotel, probably our own fault for not reading their website properly. The outdoor hot tub wasn't that great either when the weather is bad. Overall though if you are looking for a relaxing weekend you certainly get that here. The treatments and therapists were excellent!
This hotel has the wow factor even before you walk through the main doors because its location in front of the merc driving grounds and the old classic cars parked outside. Service is great, facilities too. Dinner was lovely, as was breakfast, buy it was so busy that weekend that we had to sit at the bar, and that wasn't comfortable. Two things were the best, first the baby cot and the baby products were a nice touch, and secondly, the relaxation/meditation room with water beds. The Massage was good, though the therapist was too chatty and moaned a lot about her private life. All in all, I would highly recommend it and would love to return.
A fantastic place to go for a Spa weekend away! The whole break was perfect. Really friendly staff, great hotel, good steam and sauna rooms. Bonus that it had a relaxation room and other places just to relax too. The afternoon tea and breakfast was good, Great choice of food. Would definitely return to Brooklands.
The hotel itself was fabulous, use of the spa really enjoyable and relaxing. I' couldn't use the facilities as i'm pregnant and so i had a cleopatra bath instead which was essentially just a big bath but nice anyway-would be nice if they offered some products to use that are safe in pregnancy. Extensive selection of magazines to read whilst chilling out in the spa on the very comfortable beds. The rooms were a good size with everything you needed in them, amazing waterfall showers. We heard noise from the gym in our room and were quickly moved to the other side of the hotel. We went on the weekend of the Royal Wedding so it was pretty quiet and you could feel it, no one really around at all until the evening. Our issues were with staff at dinner, incredibly slow service, i ordered a starter with mozarella-it came with goats cheese and it was not clear what it was, i'm pregnant so don't want to be eating it, when discussed with staff they first just told me it was mozarella, then the waiter implied that i should have announced my pregnancy to the staff so they could advice me what to eat ! I did explain i didn't need advising i just wanted to make an informed decision about what i was eating ! Very dissatisfied with the meal overall and service. Discussed this with the general Manager the next day who couldn't have been more helpful and escalated my complaint, i felt it was dealt with very well by the hotel staff. Breakfast the next day was delicious, fab choice, great staff and afternoon tea was just lovely. Would recommend but just be aware that the restaurant isn't quite up there with the rest of the hotel yet.
