Staff didn't know what treatment I was having so I had to show them, twice, on my phone on their website. Treatment was still then wrong and half way through I questioned it. The woman giving my treatment started shouting at me and left to get her colleague. They both implied I didn't tell them what I wanted, to which I replied that I had shown them both on my phone the treatment I had booked. They then said that 'white' people don't normally like that treatment which is why they didn't do it!!! Absolutely horrendous place, extremely rude staff and I doubt they are even qualified. Will never go there again.
I was incredibly disappointed by my manicure here and will not be returning to this salon.
I had booked in for a two week manicure (i.e. Shellac or similar). I am new to the area, having moved down from London, where I had found a very good nail bar which I attended regularly and was (and still am) looking for replacement. I booked using a £10 Treatwell voucher, otherwise I would have avoided this salon due to, what is in my opinion, high cost of a Shellac manicure. However, due to the high price tag, I was looking forward to what I thought would be a very indulgent manicure.
When I arrived, the beautician and her assistant seemed surprised, despite my having booked and pre-paid. I picked out my colour and sat down. I had Shellac on my nails already, and had presumed the take-off would be included in the price (as a lot of places do when you follow the removal with a new manicure), or at a small additional cost. Instead, when I told the woman it was Shellac, she sighed loudly, looked perturbed and looked at the clock, before telling me it would be £10.
The removal was not cleanly done - traces of my previous polish were left on my nails and subsequently painted over. When I queried the £10 price tag, I was told that sometimes it is £5, but in this instance it would be £10.
The woman tending to me went on to file my nails. This was also not done well. 'Steps' were left at the corners of my nails, and the filed ends where folded underneath and not cleaned properly. At this point I began to resent having paid for this manicure as I felt I could have been doing a better job myself at home.
The cuticle work was also poor. A lot of the rough cuticle was not tidied and my cuticle bed was nipped, causing my finger to bleed. The woman the proceeded to clean my cut with nail varnish remover - I do not need to say how uncomfortable this was. I continued to bleed throughout the rest of the manicure and was left with a scab on my cuticle bed for the best part of seven days following this.
Finally, the polish was not applied neatly. The polish overlapped the edges of my nails, onto my fingers, which subsequently meant the polish lifted after only a few days as they were not properly sealed.
When the manicure was finished, it came time to pay the £10 for the removal. I had intended to raise my issues with the manager at that point and quibble paying more for what was not a good job, but she told me I needed to pay up quickly (in cash) as she had to catch a train to catch.
All-in-all, a terrible experience.

This was the worst threading job I have had across 3 continents. I told her I just wanted her to clean up below my brows - NO shaping - and she starting threading above them. She pulled too hard on several occasions, drawing blood in 3 spots - one around each brow and one at the corner of my mouth. The job was poorly done overall - I had to ask her to continue 3 times because I could see hairs left after she had handed me the mirror. I left the store so upset about the blood dripping from the corner of my mouth (she gave me a tissue and said nothing!) only to realize truly how poor a job it was - still many hairs left around my brows and mouth.
Cheap but not worth the money saved! Never going again.
I turneed up at the salon who had no record of my booking. But the girl did it as she needed a client.
I then got told a Brazilain wax was 25 not 17 as advertised. Then after the treatment I was asked how was paying I said card and the beautian said she wanted cash as was early in morning and the card machine doesn't work well

Really nice atmosphere, great massage - not had one before, but I did find it extremely relaxing. Very enjoyable - will definitely come back.
