I booked an appointment for me (gel nails, pedicure) and a friend (manicure). Our appointment was changed a few hours before: from 4pm to 5pm, I said that would be ok but we absolutely needed to be finished by 6pm - they said that was ok. While at the venue, they suggested me to have a simple manicure instead of gel, as that would be faster - I was okay with that. Pedicure looked nice - but it was very painful. My manicure wasn't great, possibly because it was done in a rush - there was nail polish in the skin around the nails - and some nails were filed unevenly. My friend's manicure was ok.
They charged us more than the quote we got from treatwell (even though I ended up having cheaper treatments than what I originally asked for). Overall our impression was that the staff were nice people, but weren't very professional.
I had a Hollywood wax with Pam who was really welcoming and very good at her job, with years of experience. I am happy with the result and would recommend Pam and the salon to friends.
The WORST manicure experience I have ever had. The lady doing my nails was abrupt, rude and rushed through everything. She darted off in the middle of my appointment to thread someone's eyebrows, and rushed while doing the polish so she could see to someone else. I had to re-file my nails because she did such a bad job shaping them, the polish was applied messily, and by rushing the top coat on she left air bubbles all over the nails. AWFUL JOB. I spoke to the manager while paying and explained my thoughts, and she kindly offered to have me come back to do it again for free but it would be a waste of time - the nail technician was a disaster!
