The place was very busy with only 3 seats - a steady flow of what seemed regular clients. They offered me a hot drink when I first arrived, the person who cut my hair I dont think I knew what he was doing I asked for 1-2 inches of I now pretty much have a bob, the hair cut itself it's all wonky I need to pay some else to fix it! I asked for blonde around my face which he did some but I don't really look much different - he didn't brush my hair once even when drying and generally I felt the guy who pretty unprofessional. While I was in there I also heard someone making up prices (and adding it up to make it more expensive) was totally put off and wouldn't visit again. To top it off if you pay by card it's an extra £1
Booked a last minute blowdry in readiness for the weekend away. Staff were friendly and pleasant, however the actual treatment itself was not what I was hoping for.
I got the overall impression that because I'd booked last minute and was a later slot in the evening that I was a nuisance. The blowdry was rushed and somewhat painful (a first!) due to the heavy handedness and pulling by the stylist. I felt as though they couldn't wait to shut up shop and get home (understandably for most of us but don't accept the booking if you don't want the work)!
The finished dry looked OK, although not as sleek as I'm used to, and I feel that the rushing contributed to it not lasting long at all.
Salon itself was clean, lovely head massage, and the other staff were very friendly. Shame that I've had better blowdries by trainees in the past...
