I was booking a Brazilian blow-dry keratin treatment to straighten my hair for a few months. Treatwell gave me results for Nano-keratin, which, I figured, was a product name. It was under the Brazilian blowdry category, so I thought it was the same type of semi-permanent hair straightening, just using a different brand of keratin. The process was the same, the instructions were the same (no washing for 2 days, no clips, no tying the hair back) and I had to get special shampoo, so I was absolutely certain that I got the Brazilian keratin treatment.
It was a really nasty surprise when I washed my hair a couple of days later and it immediately went back to being CURLY and FRIZZY. My hair didn't get straight at all. It looks almost exactly as it did before the treatment - curls, frizz, unruliness. It's a little softer but even that is already wearing off, 4 days in. This was an absolute ripoff.
Great nail treatment - good therapist.
However, the saloon is not nice, very weird ambience. They asked me to pay a higher price than what was agreed. And they posted on Treatwell that I did not show up for the treatment.
Won't go back.
