I booked my appointment for 6pm on the same day. I work in Holborn so this salon was quite out the way for me but it was open late so I didn't mind. I took the tube to the salon and arrived on time. When I arrived a male (I presume he was the manager/owner) greeted me and asked my name. I gave him my details and he asked if I was having my hair done and i corrected him and said my nails. He found my booking on the system and asked if I would like a drink. Whilst he was making my drink downstairs the nail technician approached me and asked if I could rebook for another day. I told her I didn't mind waiting to which she responded there is a 45 minute wait as she was doing shellac for two ladies (I presume walk in customers) and could I re book another day. I told her I had come out of my way for this appointment (it took me half an hour to get to Camden) and she said again to book another day. I told her not to worry about it I would not be returning. Personally I feel this is terrible service and a salon should not accept walk in customers knowing they have a booking. I did not receive any contact prior to my appointment informing they would not be able to fit me in nor did I receive an apology after this. I was very displeased my time had been wasted.
The manicure was hurried and left with a multitude of hang nails. Eyes were stung heavily whilst doing the eyelash tinting and clumps of hair fell out when the dye was removed in the eyebrow tint.
