Had an eyebrow threading, was really well done and the beautician gave me advice on how to fill in my brows with my pencil as they are quite pale and thin in places Great value so will definitely be coming back.
Eyebrow Threading
I did not have a very pleasant experience at the salon. I wasn't even greeted with a hello. I got an abrupt question of do you have Afro hair?! Which I don't it was the announce in his voice. He really did seem irritated that he had to do my hair. I then had questions like why do you come here when there a several other salons in the area. I really was feeling uncomfortable at this point. He then started washing my hair. Then rushed over to have it blow dried where he was really pulling at my hair, leaving the hair dryer on to long on my scalp, having to keep moving my head when it was getting to hot. He then would leave the brushes in my hair, when it came to pulling them out my hair was getting very tangled. At this point he really was rushing because he had another client in at 11.00 my initial appointment was booked at 10.00 but the night before he rung me and asked me to come in at 10.30 because he was having to come in early for me. So when it came to paying he matter of factual said £25 when I had a email confirmation said £13.60 I appreciate that's a low amount seeing as I have long hair. I would expect an extra charge but thinking it be more than double the price. I refused and settled on £20. They really should advise people on treatwell of any extra charges and really a better attitude towards customers. It really was the worst experience I've had.
Would recommend Pam. Professional, friendly,makes you feel comfortable. pleased with waxing treatment. All staff in salon very friendly.
Ladies' Waxing
I had a manicure done. This was done very well and it is still looking great, several days later!
