I really hate to leave a bad review as the lady who did my lashes was very lovely, but i've just had such a bad time with the aftermath that i can't say anything different apart from I really regret getting them done here. Unfortunately during treatment the pads that were supposed to keep the bottom and top lashes separated became dislodged. After an hour or so of applying the lashes it came time for the reveal - but my lashes were glued together. What followed was the most awkward and painful process of holding my eyelids apart so that the glued bits could either be PULLED apart or CUT free from eachother. I was in so much pain and my eyes were so red i could honestly barely see anything until I got home and my eyes settled. The lashes looked reasonable from a distance but up close you could see that the base of the lashes were clumped together in parts and due to this some parts looked more sparse than others. There was so much clumping at the roots that when i blinked i felt the glue actually scratching at my eyeballs!
Normally if i was unhappy with a service i would return to give the salon a chance to rectify the situation, but i was the last customer and my appointment ran about an hour late anyway due to it being Christmas, the salon was closed the next day and i was due to leave after that. In any case even if i was offered the chance to have them completely removed and reapplied again i wouldn't chance it. Having your eyelashes glued together really is the no.1 thing you don't want to happen and unfortunately because of that I wouldn't return here, nor would i recommend this treatment to anyone. Like i said, the lady who did them was so love, and i am so sorry to have to write this, but it really was an ordeal and i'm still struggling to remove the clumps of glue without removing my lashes with them also.
My nails look lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We looked through lots of colours, and good advice was given. I don't know the young lady's name. But she was really nice and I had a relaxing experience.
