I was really nervous about booking my first pregnancy massage at somewhere I had never tried before, but it was absolutely amazing. Firstly I was able to get an appointment after working hours which was great! As soon as I arrived, Catherine really made me feel at ease - it's instantly a very relaxing place and I felt at ease straight away. After completing the questionnaire, Catherine discussed with me what I was looking for from the massage - pain relief, muscle tension, relaxation etc and she clearly knew her stuff. What I was really impressed with was that she actually worked with me to make up her own aromatherapy oils which were safe to use during pregnancy, and that i liked the smell of which was great as I'm not always a huge fan of some of the smells. The bed itself was made up with pillows in a way which made it so comfortable and warm to lie on and Catherine took the full hour to massage me. It was genuinely one of the best massages I have ever had - with knots I had and certain pain I was experiencing, Catherine tailored her massage around this rather than a one size fits all, and worked on my back, neck, shoulders, sciatic nerve and my legs. I felt so relaxed after and I can't wait to go back. I also got the best sleep ever afterwards and will be booking again soon!
