A brilliant facial and I’ve loved the results. Very gentle on my sensitive skin and left my face with no redness or blotchy patches. The only issue was that it was a promotion and therefore there was quite a hard sell to sign up for additional treatments. I also didn’t have my facial diagnosis as there was a queue due to other patients.

I showed up a few minutes early for my 2:30 appointment and the receptionist told me she hadn’t received a notification of it from Treatwell. She said they could take me at 3, and I really needed a facial, so I decided to wait. At 3:15, I asked when we would begin, and was told they were preparing the room. At 3:25, the receptionist informed me that my facialist was ill and needed to go home, so they wouldn’t be able to see me at all. (I understand being sick of course, but don’t keep me around waiting for an hour then!) Four days later, I still have not been refunded, never mind compensated for the time wasted.

I was asked to reschedule my appointment twice. The day before the appointment to be an hour earlier then what I booked online. Then on the day for 2 hours later then what the new booking had been changed to. In the email I was sent after creating the booking, as I’d opted for pay on the day. It was stated I would pay after the appointment, and that the facial would be 1.5h long. When I got there I was running 5mins late. I was asked to pay in advance. There internet was down so I couldn’t make a card payment. So I had to go to the cash point. Fill out the heath questioner buy the time the receptionist did what ever she needed to do to get the appointment going 40min had passed. I was reassured I would actually have a 2h appointment regardless of the start time of the appointment. That did not happen my appointment was about 1h 15min. So I did wonder if there was anything missing... the therapist was very knowledgeable and gave good advice for my skin. If you book an appointment with this company expect to be introduced to there treatment programs before and after the treatment they do with the expectation you purchase a 12 or 6 treatment package straight after your facial for a little over £2000.
