Had a lovely time with my daughter for a well deserved for both of us. The facilities were excellent, staff helpful and friendly. The lunch we had was delicious and the staff helpful. Will be going back.
Champneys is ok, but definitely not the best. The relaxation areas are nice, albeit I could hear the staff speaking loudly and lots of noises from back of house. The pool is lovely, but The sauna and steam rooms very small and nothing special - in my opinion, leisure centre standard.
Also, one of the treatment rooms I went in wasn't particularly pleasant - the air vent in the ceiling was full of dust (not appealing when you're lying down looking at it), and the shower was old and leaking.
On the plus side, the food was great and the treatments very relaxing.
All in all, I've had better and probably wouldn't go back.
It was all good except it was a shame that the steam room etc is separate for men & women, it would of been nice to enjoy those facilities as a couple.
Great spa, everyone very friendly and professional. Overall a good experience. Loved the breakfast particulary. The facial was lovely but the massage could have been better. I wish I had known the the treatments were only 25 mins each. This was not made clear when I booked so was a little disappointed that they were so short
Had a lovely day here with my daughter.
So relaxing. Lunch was excellent , the pasta bar where the chef cooks the ingredients and produces your bespoke pasta dish is a lovely idea and quite delicious.
Not quite sure that I enjoy a "healthy " afternoon tea as much as " normal " one .. But this is a spa after all.
Thank you
