I ended up switching to the Brazilian pedicure which does not come with gel nails. I would have upgraded to gel nails but that would have been £24 more.
The pedicure itself was very good and I'd go again. I don't think the lady that did my feet spoke a lot of English or maybe she wasn't very chatty, but I didn't mind at all since communication was no problem when necessary and it meant I could just relax and read for a bit during he treatment without feeling rude.
so altogether I enjoyed the experience, though I only gave 4* because I thought it was unreasonable to ask for over £20 to upgrade to gel nails.
Was really impressed. Great little salon, lovely talented staff and they did a great job on my hair. they even taught me how to style it properly myself!
I rocked up to the salon, met my therapist however there was no introduction not welcome from the therapist (not sure if it was due to a language barrier) we didn't discuss my skin or whether I had a microdermabrasion before. there was nothing about what I should do after with my skin. It would have been good to talk about the microdermabrasion and the after care. She just did the microdermabrasion and that was it. When I booked it on Treatwell it says it's a 45 mins treatment went for 30 mins. I probably won't go back there again.
The staff were friendly upon arrival. Treatments were as expected. The four stars is only because one of the treatments booked through treatwell was more costly that the salons price list when I got there. The therapist also a bit confused as to what treatments I was having which made it a bit awkward at the beginning. But overall, I would go again.
