HORRENDOUS!!
Angela expressed her desire for creating shapes in hair, unfortunately the shapes she creating in mine left me with an uneven trim and dry hair falling out from the root.
I booked in for an intensive treatment however was given a different treatment that was almost double the price. This treatment left my hair extremely dry. Angela then wanted to straighten my hair which I had to advise she did not. This was followed with excuses as to why my hair looked worse than when I came in, and was even told that it was because my hair: has a mind if it's own, it doesn't like heat, and I must have a poor diet to name a few. I was later told that she had stripped my hair 3 times! This I presume is why my hair was so dry. Although the process of stripping hair is often used when colouring hair.
My hair was also trimmed, this was a DISASTER my hair was different lengths, I have also had layers cut (which I did not ask for!).
Upon visiting another hairdressers I was told someone had 'hacked at my hair and that it was falling out and stressed as a result of this".
Credit where it is due, Angela did attempt to fix if by putting another treatment on it which contributed to the breakage due to an overload of protein. I left with wet hair that looked worse and was more damaged than when I entered. I will NEVER return!

Lovely staff, stylish salon and good results. Can't ask for more really! Disclaimer: I have run business and training events locally so I have had a professional relationship with this salon (as with other local businesses) but I have also had my hair cut there several times and can honestly say its a great place run by people with heart.
Thought I was going to have an great experience. Very friendly chatty hairdresser greated me, lovely looking salon. However she was the only person working and left me for 15mins sitting by the sink before washing my hair as there was another customer in. Not any good recommendations for my hair she just did a square cut and said leave it to dry naturally. I feel sad for the lady as she obviously needed me out quickly as other people were waiting but I have very long thick hair which usually takes over an hour to do. I was in and out in 30mins.

Great! The cut was great (they really know what they are doing!) and had wonderful conversations would highly recommend this salon

Please note that I have given a one star rating for Men's Haircut as in the time I have visited the salon have not had the opportunity to witness hairdressing being done on male clients.
I have been visiting this Charles Carter for maybe close to 10 years and can see myself being there for another long stint! Would definitely recommend friends and family to visit the salon as apart from being a friendly and relaxed salon the advice provided by the team and care taken with your hair is flawless and what keeps me coming back. I feel comfortable and have a lot of confidence and trust them completely with my hair!
When I visit I just leave everything up to my stylist- I am yet to be disappointed!!
