I was pleased with the hair cut. The stylist just asked me if I wanted a trim so there wasn't much discussion before hand about how I wanted it, but it turned out really well. It felt, looked and smelled fab.
The venue was nice, if a bit cold as it was a chilly day. It feels very private and secure which is nice. The staff were all lovely and they didn't pressure me to buy any extra products which is a great relief as other salons do this and I find it uncomfortable.
It seemed really clean and tidy, however the towel they used to put on my shoulders when I had my hair washed felt a bit damp and I was worried that it had been used before me.
I had also booked for shellac nails & file - I don't normally get my nails done so was unsure what to ask for, and in the end the polish that was used wasn't shellac, and I didn't have my nails filed - it would've been nice if the nail technician had talked to me a bit more about the different types I could have done and checked what I had booked for. As they weren't shellac, they didn't last very long. They looked good for a couple of days but then started to chip/peel. Next time I will definitely get the right ones!
Overall, I did like the salon and the staff, and I would definitely go again for hair and nails and the other treatments they have to offer.
