It's such a shame. The reviews I read on here gave me such hope and excitement about going to get my hair done here. It started off fine. The stylist spent a very long time applying the balayage, which led me to believe the whole experience would be as meticulous. Unfortunately the consultation about my haircut was absolutely minimal. I'm very used to stylist asking what I want to get from my cut, how I usually style my hair etc. But this time there was none of that. I said I wanted a long bob, and beyond that there was no other discussion. I said I wanted it blunt but was told I *had* to have my front bits layered. After my bleach was washed out and I'd had my toner applied I'm fairly certain I only got a shampoo and no conditioner (it could have been a 2-in-1 but you expect more than that in a salon), followed by no heat protecting product or anything. My hair was then blow dried quite aggressively before it was cut. I again thought this was strange. When she'd cut half of my hair she said do you like and I said yes, it could be shorter though, to which she responded "it could...." and then just carried on and didn't go shorter. It felt like she spent about 5 minutes on the cut. As I said, it's a real shame as I love the colour, I think it's beautiful. Perhaps because I bought a deal and the fact that she is only there twice a week meant that I got a less than average service. Judging from the other reviews I just got the wrong stylist I assume. Also, I didn't get to try any wine! :(
I was very stressed about going to the hairdresser after a couple of bad experiences, but this was perfect! Arnaud listened to everything I had to say, and was very good at giving advices too. I love my new haircut!
