So pleased with Chez Stephen, the salon is lovely and the staff are friendly and sweet. Alane did my balayage, he was really great. Very helpful, eager to show you tricks to do your hair yourself. Was really happy with my balayage treatment when I left, looks very natural.
My third visit and was offered to join CS club @ £50 per annum to save 25% off services. Seems a fabulous deal a shame this was not offered to me sooner as it would have been worth it and would have saved me shopping around for a deal. I use to work in Putney and have moved away but the salon is without question worth the 1.5 hour commute to get here. The staff really listen to what you want and are honest in their delivery to curtail style to match your face shape and lifestyle. So good taking my sister here...

I've just moved to the area so I was looking for a salon I can build a relationship with - I found it! I explained to Charline that I'm growing my hair hence I just wanted an "in-between" cut and she totally got it. Everyone in the salon was genuinely nice and relaxed, including the owner - and even the coffee was delicious! I know I'm going back! (in fact I've joined their membership scheme for discounts on hair services and special wine tastings...).

I had Alane do my balayage which I was very happy with. He was very thorough to ensure the best outcome and I loved the finished look! I got my side fringe trimmed aswell for no extra cost. The only downside was it took longer than the 90 minutes I expected, I was in there for over 2 hours- but I think that shows the attention to detail Chez Stephan provides! I would recommend this salon and would happily go back myself.
I've given an extra star because wheni got there i found out they are also a wine merchant and I got a lovely glass of wine whilst I had my haircut... What more could you ask for? I liked the venue, very chilled.
