What a great find. The salon is very well located, a few minutes from Bond Street station. I was seen promptly, yes as other reviews have stated the treatment room was small but it was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.
I had the massage by 'Andre' who was great: it was a physiotherapy type treatment that really got rid of all of the tension and knots.
Lovely experience and I will not hesitate to return!
The masseure was very good and consulted with me taking in details of my back problems and medical background and was happy to give me advice. I enjoyed the session and would be happy with the spa day if it was worth 20 pounds.
Chi Clinic is little more than a tiny room on the top floor of a tanning shop in James Street. There is no ambience or atmosphere and conditions are very cramped indeed. The toilets on the basement floor of the tanning shop also left a lot to be desired. As the location of this mobdeal was advertised as Mayfair, I was expecting a swish little clinic or salon and was very disappointed in that regard.
HOWEVER, I cannot praise Chi highly enough in terms of the skill and knowledge she holds. She gave me a combination of deep tissue massage and acupuncture to relieve long standing back pain, and it was extremely effective. I will definitely be going back for further treatment from her, it's just a shame that the surroundings are not very pleasant. I have already recommended Chi to several friends wanting to try acupuncture for the first time.
the salon was a bit hard to find but once i got there the therapist was very friendly and welcoming. the sports massage was so effective and undid all my tension and knots.
Chi gives you personal treatment specifically tuned to your needs. If going for a series of treatments, there is an overall plan - an ultimate goal, so to speak - but Chi is excellent at listening to you and how you feel, and adapting that particular session to whatever your current needs are.
