I've booked hot stone massage, however the service i was provided was far from expected. The lady asked if I ever had this type of massage and after I said it's the first time she asked to get ready. Asking to leave my clothes on was a sign there's something not right, but after confirming twice what I am here for thought there should not be confusion. Sadly but apart of foot massage there was nothing else. Hot stones never arrived and the treatment was something similar to reflexology. Very disappointed. Definitely not worth the value.
Hard to find, as a shop in a shop, luckily I knew what I was looking for as a friend told me.
Ok inside - you are in a back room with not much space & no changing room! But the room is done up to a good standard.
I don't know if it's normal but my upper back is so painful. I've had massages before & never felt like this after. It was very very painful to sleep on last night... It was meant to be relaxing, & parts were but some parts were also painful & I was tensing during the massage.
Now my upper back & neck is killing...
Now looking at booking another massage to get rid of this tense pain in my back (not at the same venue I'm hasten to add!)
Staff were very friendly and conciderate. Amazing value for money - I had a hot stone 30min massage for £30! Masseuse was very skilled and new the points I needed focusing on. Stones were a little hotter than I've had before but they ask if temperature is ok for you. Over all a very relaxing expensive for the money!
Chi is very professional and I got good results from the treatment. I felt comfortable and feel as though she is a trustworthy therapist. The only negatives were that during acupuncture the phone ringing and the noise of doors etc is a bit distracting. Also, I felt forced to book my next appointment.
