The therapist was really good and congenial!I had the best massage in years! it was relaxing and also super efficient: I have been feeling much better since then!
A huge, huge waste of money.
The therapist was extremely rude, blunt and interrupted a lot whilst I was answering her questions.
After a brief massage to the painful area, the acupuncture needles were inserted and I was told to lie still and go to sleep for half an hour. That's £30 worth of time- I was given no advice as to what to do next, no exercises given.
Only half way through the massage did she ask if I was allergic tot he oil she'd been using for 5 mins.
Absolutely gutted that I paid almost £60 and wasn't helped at all. It's the teaming of her being so rude and unhelpful, as well as the fact that she didn't spent much time on my injury, that's left me hugely dissatisfied.
I cannot trust a Treatwell recommendation again.
It is quite an odd setting, and feels like an office rather than a treatment room. However, Chi is lovely, very knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint the problems with my neck and back immediately. She recommended acupuncture and a sports massage rather than cupping to solve this problem, but as I had paid for the cupping already I decided to go ahead and have booked a separate appointment for the acupuncture. It was the first time I had cupping - it is definitely an interesting experience!! Not hugely relaxing, but you continue to see the results over the next week or so (as well as some pretty interesting marks!) I will definitely do it again.
Nice treatment room and felt better for the sports massage although it was not a full body massage and only focused on one leg and shoulders (I have problems with the knee on the side that was massaged). The areas that were massaged felt better. The treatment finished 15 minutes early (should have been an hour and a half)
