We had booked through Wahanda so picked the times we wanted our nails - but when we got there we had to wait to be seen to as they had quite a few ladies who had a "walk-in" appointment, which was slightly annoying as we had other plans straight after. I chose to pay on the day but only found out after the manicure that they could only take cash...so I had to go out to get some cash.
The lady who did my nails did not finish them properly (was rough and sharp on the underside of the nails) nor shaped them all to the same length - I have one thumb which has a significantly longer nail than the other. She also applied the base layer over onto my skin which meant now, after a few days, it's peeled off and now the edge of the manicure is lifting. So my manicure won't last for two weeks...I'm planning on getting them redone somewhere else in time for Xmas!
I can't really compare much to anything else as this is the first time I had a professional Shellac manicure, but I did expect a better result for what I paid for - plus that was with the Wahanda discount too!
I must point out that she did them very quickly in just 30 minutes - maybe that's why she missed out on the smaller details...
