I visited this salon a month or so back for a trim, whilst there I explained that my hair was weak and kept breaking and that I wanted to grow out the bleach and go back to a more natural light brown colour. The hairdresser explained how she would do it, was very confident/convincing and so I booked for 3 weeks later to start the process. The result from Saturday’s appointment was bright (highlighter) orange hair interjected with white stripes and a sickly yellow band over the crown of my head. I was utterly distraught, in tears and so she decided to paint bleach onto my scalp & neck. This in turn left me with blisters across my scalp, neck and behind my ears and after a visit to my GP was told he couldn’t fathom such injuries derived from shear incompetence and utter lack of any responsible care. I am still in a substantial amount of pain. I visited a salon the next morning-again utterly upset. The hairdressers all rallied around and were totally and completely shocked when I told them what had happened. They couldn’t believe that any kind of hairdresser with even basic training could not have known the result of putting the colour she used onto dark roots—apparently it’s the very basics of training and something that anyone with any experience would have known. I paid £260 for the treatments and initial colour—but obviously due to the extent of the injuries I need to go back in a few weeks for the second base when the blisters have healed. I have pictures of the colour, the injuries and copies of the receipt. At the very least I expect this salon to recompense the money and further issue an apology and explanation as to how on earth this could have happened? I’ve just read a previous review here where the same thing appears to have happened before? I await a reply before taking further action.
