The place is very comfortable to go to, I know I have to book an appointment which I don't, walk in anything I what my hair done, a cup of tea is always ready when I went it.
During my lunch break I searched for a quick haircut option .£17.50 for a dry cut seemed like a bargain to me as it would save both money and time. Don’t get me wrong for those prices I wasn’t expecting a brand new barber just a basic trim.
I asked for my hair to be thinned out during a reasonably priced dry hair cut . However when I left the salon I was shocked to see a big chunk of my hair missing at the back of my head. I remembered the hairdresser gasp while cutting my hair with the thinning scissors but as I was distracted and as the hairdresser did not speak to me following this I assumed her gasp was in response to her conversation she was having with her colleague for the duration of my haircut ( which was fine I had no interest in small talk anyway and just wanted a relaxing experience in the salon) clearly she used the wrong scissors was used at one point, hence the mistake. I have now been left with a lob sided hair cut which I am unable to tie back as the cut was made one inch from my roots. If my payment had not been taken from treatwell I would’ve refused to pay for the haircut.
I was also not offered a coffee or any magazine. When I arrived to the salon the hairdresser was lying back in the hand wash basin chair relaxing, unprofessional in my eyes.
I would absolutely not recommend this place. Take my advice pay extra money for a decent hair cut and don’t be pulled in by their low prices.
I had a great experience with Chris in her salon. She has excellent knowledge about hair and provided some great tips for good hair maintenance. Would definitely revisit.
