Overall a pretty horrible experience. I wanted a quick blow dry with curled GHD ends, but instead was told my hair was "dry" and "damaged" despite having a trim and new colour only a week prior.
I felt the hairdresser couldn't handle my hair but made me feel bad about it. For instance stating I couldn't have the curled ends because my hair was too dry so the curls wouldn't hold. Unreal as I get my hair curled every weekend by my regular hairdresser who manages just fine.
In the end we settled for going over the terrible blow dry with straighteners to give a better finish, to which I was told I would have to pay £5 extra!!!!
I wouldn't recommend going here if you have any hair type different from straight Caucasian or European hair (I am mixed raced, with long curly hair).
Thankfully I was let off the £5 as I left my purse at home, However I will not be coming back.
Blow Dry
My first time here and I'll certainly be back! Really lovely staff and, although quiet, made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Hair cut just how I asked and my nails and threading were done with absolute precision...thank you! Don't be put off by the outside, it's a brilliant little place and fantastic value ;)
