Lovely masseuse, but very chatty when I just wanted to relax. She was very attentive and tried her best with my knots.
The customer service to begin with was rubbish! No smiles, just generally a bit awkward. When I was taken in the room, I was told to "get myself ready", wasn't asked if i had been for a wax before/told what to expect etc. And I was expecting to pay £15, as stated on Wahanda, but was charged £10 extra for a hot wax, which wasn't given as an option on the app. I wasn't given anything to cover myself after i had taken my lower clothing off, even though the door to the room opened out in to the corridor of the salon. The lady didn't even knock to ask if I was decent, just walked on in!! She was generally nice through the procedure, which did make me feel better about the experience at the time. I wasn't given an opportunity to check the wax (done in less than 20 minutes, even though the slot is for an hour). I was disappointed that she didn't actually remove any hair from the back! And now I have got home, and embarrassingly, the lower half of my cheeks were stuck together due to a hardened piece of wax being left there - stuck in the hair she didn't remove! I can also see now that there are so many stray hairs all over. Just a disappointing experience overall. So I'm not going to have to complete the job myself!!
I have a Hollywood wax here each month and the staff are really friendly and professional. The place itself is really clean and has a chilled out/relaxed atmosphere. Would really recommend!
Few slots to book on Wahanda so you need some planning ahead but it was definitely worth it. Lovely staff, clean and good job. I was surprised that my hollywood wax was painless and I've tried many salons around Wimbledon. Very good experience and highly recommended.
When I arrived at Cleo Clinic Wimbledon, they advised they did not have my appointment or any confirmation of my booking. I showed them the confirmation on email from Wahanda, and they were hesitant to accommodate. I was shown into a room where a staff member said she would give the wax. The room was clean, however had no pillow and was not very relaxing. The staff member seemed quite irritated that she had to accommodate me. My skin was not prepped for the wax - was not asked if the wax was too hot...she just went ahead with the wax, which was finished in less than 10 minutes - I am not kidding! I was asked if I wanted cream for the area - this is usually standard, so why was I asked? Two days later, I was using a tweezers to remove hairs which were not removed ....this is the worst wax I have ever had.
