I really like this place and the treatment staff are really good and really friendly. It's excellent value for money.
I arrived at the salon only to find they had no clue of my appointment! I sat there whilst that hurried around to find a therapist! The treatment its self was extremely rushed, didn't even bother to ask how the temperature of the wax was! A lot of hairs left, I know that price is extremely reasonable but that is absolutely no reason to skimp on the quality or service!
I've been a couple of times to this spa now and always try to give them the benefit of the doubt but I've come to realise this is not a good place to get a wax! I paid for a strip wax, of which I'd had many but the last one I had at Cleo Clinic was probably the most painful one of my life. The lady didn't do a very good job of removing all the hair either and when I asked if she was going to do 'behind' she exclaimed that that wasn't part of a Brazilian wax! I won't be going back despite the low cost.
Had hot wax for extra £5 and was good, smooth and quick. Staff very friendly and appointment was on time.
I've been going to Cleo for over 18 months on a monthly basis for a Brazilian/ Hollywood wax and normally cannot fault the treatment. However, on this occasion i was given an inexperience therapist who was not proficient in hot wax, i think had the therapist being given time i would have a perfect treatment as she was very lovely but just nervous (I am a trained beauty therapist so was happy to be a model as such). Instead the manager kept knocking to speed her up and it resulted in the manager completing my treatment. When i got home i realized i was still very patchy so i returned the next day after talking to the manager. Despite returning im still very patchy and have had to complete the treatment myself. The therapist i had was lovely and i couldn't fault her treatment, i just felt it was unfair of management to have such high expectations on somebody just starting out. I will return to Cleo but just hope i have a better experience next time, if not then i will look elsewhere.
