The venue was ok, was very busy when I arrived (which I always find more encouraging than an empty salon!) and the staff were friendly enough.
The wax itself though was not the best I've had! It was the most sore I have ever been from a Hollywood, and I have had enough of them to know that it doesn't usually feel sore for that long after. The wax was over within 10 minutes and I felt the therapist rushed through it and was therefore not very thorough.
I guess you pay for what you get though and £15 for a Hollywood is so cheap that I would probably go back again if on a budget!
I always had a soft spot for Cleo Clinic Wimbledon. The treatments are all relatively cheap compared to some other salons I have been to, but the quality is the same if not better! I have great rapport with all the staff working there and are well qualified beauticians. I have been there to have all my wax and threading treatments and I always leave satisfied with the results. If they ever miss something, I let them know and they rectify the problem immediately. I have recommended this salon to many of my friends and family who are equally as pleased with the service.
Went for Brazilian wax before my holidays and think it was probably one of the worst of these treatments I have ever had. The staff member seemed to have no idea how to do the treatment- I was left with half of the hair still remaining, wax in places you rather not and to top it off she had completely bruised the entire area that can be seen in a bikini. I'm not sure if she was a trainee but I would expect whoever to be doing such an intimate treatment in such a sensitive area to be much more trained! Not recommended, sorry.
I was really pleased with my deep tissue massage with Caroline on Sunday 29/06. She was very personable and professional and made me feel very relaxed. The room was very well equipped and I left feeling extremely at ease. My only deduction for 1 star on price was that I was under the impression that Wahanda offered discounted rates however upon leaving the venue, I picked up a rates card and saw that the treatment was £50 - exactly what I paid for it on Wahanda. Perhaps I had the wrong impression of this but I thought the whole point of these things is to offer competitive pricing. Overall though a really pleasant experience and, with it being so close to home, I will definitely go back if there are other offers on,
