My hair looked fantastic and I received lots of compliments from my friends on New Years' Eve. The actual experience is also fun as the salon is warm and friendly. Have been a client for many years and would recommend Civette.

My hair cut was really bad. I have fine hair, super easy to cut, I have no layers or feathers and it's all one length just below the shoulders. My hair wasnt cut straight and I have random longer and shorter bits all over the place. I could tell from the technique that the hairdresser wasn't trained or didn't care to divide the hair up into sections, she literally just started snipping away at it without seperating it in anyway, resulting in a very uneven cut. Aside from that, the sink was so uncomfortable, I had to resist relaxing because I didn't want to put any more weight on the back of my
neck which was in agony. The hairdresser then literally ripped the hairbrush through my hair without any care, my hair is super fine and should be brushed with a comb very carefully,she used a tangle teaser -I felt like asking her to stop as some of my hair was actually being pulled out. I didn't see the products they use but I don't think they were good quality as my hair didnt feel soft and glossy after. Overall I wish I'd decided to spend more and go elsewhere. I read all the great reviews and thought I'd take the chance. I don't know how they have such good reviews because my experience was awful and I can forgive the uncomfortable sink etc.. as long as I'm getting a good haircut but I now have to spend more money to correct the damage. My boyfriend laughed when I showed him.
