Arrived on time, but there was a delay in being seen to as the previous appointment was overran. The treatment room is very small and in the basement.
The lady could not speak english properly and so could not actually direct me properly.
She went over the same are of skin more than twice and then tried a different wax after the 3rd time. I was left with raw skin! As she didn't understand any english I could not even tell her to stop doing that.
Over all i guess you get what you pay for, but i would expect they know not to go over the same area of skin more than twice as this would damage the skin.
Claudia made me feel very comfortable and tried her best to make the wax not painful. Also I tried threading which I guess is a bit painful anyways! Once home I figured she left some areas not waxed but not major problem! Will go back,and i've adviced my friends to go there too, great value for a good wax!
The people were friendly, but did not seem to speak any english. She seemed to know what she was doing, but the language barrier made it a bit awkward at times. Beside that the venue was ok, you pay for what you get.
I decided to go to Claudias as it was local. The salon is under a hair salon and the facilities whist basic are very clean. THe therapist was lovely and made me feel at ease. I will definitely visit again - you won't get better value for money
You're seen to immediately and that's a real plus. The stylist is very friendly. She made me feel really comfortable by engaging in conversation with me while having my treatment which was a good laugh. Claudia took her time and my hair came out super soft and shiny. She was very cautious and kept asking me all throughout if she was rough or if the machine was too hot in my head. The previous week I had a hollywood wax which was a breeze. I screamed a bit during the ordeal due to my hair being extremely long down there! But the assistant was great. She was really quick with it and gave me a few chances to catch my breath before pulling off the wax. Overall it was a good experience. Your money will not be wasted. I definitely recommend!
