I was surprised that their salon name has not been changed on Treatwell, I was a bit confused when I had to find it. The staff members were very friendly, everyone greeted with a smile. I was slightly disappointed with my manicure as it felt a bit rushed and it doesn’t look very well done. Anyway, if that could be improved - it could definitely be my place to go to.
Gel Nails Manicure
Originally booked a nail appointment through Treatwell on a Sunday, when I got there they said their nail technician didn't work Sundays and when I asked for a refund, they said they'd re-book me for the following Saturday. When I went in on the Saturday, they said I'd have to wait half an hour until the appointment before me was done. I then asked to cancel the appointment and get a refund and after about 5-10 mins they said I could have my appointment first. When I booked the appointment I asked for acrylic nails with French polish and I asked for this again at the start of the appointment. The nail technician finished doing my acrylic nails and then when she asked what polish I wanted she said they didn't have french polish even though I asked for this at the start of the appointment. I then had to choose another colour which I didn't want but she said she'd re-do the colour when they had french polish next week for free. During the appointment, the person whose appointment they pushed back for mine was sat next to me also looking very fed up with the service which was quite uncomfortable for me as a customer. The following Saturday I had to go back again and when she started she asked me if I wanted shellac instead and tried to charge me an extra £10 to which I said no. My nails were eventually done properly after 3 visits but the salon wasted so much of my time. I will definitely not be going back again.
