Booked this place on the app as my usual spot (Ruby’s on Tower Bridge Road) was not open on the bank holiday and this place is 10 minutes away and I’m always willing to give a new place a try.
I prepaid for a deluxe pedicure and SNS nails.
Due to confusion on their end, they only gave me a classic one which was £12 cheaper. During the treatment, they had let me know that I had not booked take off (which is not available to book via the app so hadn’t know there would be a fee) and told me I would have to pay an extra £10 for this which is a poor customer experience but I agreed to it (ended up being cancelled out by the fact that I had not been given a deluxe pedicure). In addition, the water for the foot soak was luke warm at best which is not the most pleasant of feelings and when I got home, parts of my feet were green from where the foot scrub had been applied but not properly washed off.
When it came to doing the hands, it’s advertised as an SNS manicure but there was no cuticle trimming etc, just the shape and polish. Had asked for SNS as it doesn’t require UV light but somehow the treatment they gave me, I ended up having to cure my nails under UV but I had been there so long that I decided not to say anything and get out.
Nails themselves have bubbles and hair from the brush on a few of them and the polish is on the edge of my nails (on skin) with no clean up so they look messy. Really disappointed by them.
The staff were nice but the whole thing cost £73 and was just not worth it.
I spend around £65 every two weeks on pedicure/manicure as I’m religious about getting them done but I will not be a regular here as there are better options in the area. I don’t mind paying for quality but this did not deliver.
