Went in for a gel removal and they ended up just removing the top layer of my nail. They’re not brittle and breaking because they’re half the thickness they were before. I can even see a ridge where they removed the gel.
The tools were also unsanitized and had not been cleaned since used on the previous client. I now just have to wait for my nails to grow out to get them back to their usual strength.
