I came in for a cut and blow dry with someone I’ve never had before, she seemed nice although a bit distracted talking to other customers....I also wasn’t offered a drink because she was chatting.
If I wasn’t so embarrassed I would go back in and discuss my hair. I asked for a good trim and my layers cutting back in. Currently the layers on one side of my hair are so defined it looks like a separate hair cut - very blocky and blunt. I have also found a number of bits of hair which haven’t been cut to the same length as the rest. I asked for my hair to be finished with a light wave throughout but ended up leaving the salon looking like Annie. I made a couple of comments about how curly my hair was but it was just laughed off and I was told it would drop down in a couple of hours! At the end I was shown the back of my hair and actually it looked okay - however it was so curly it didn’t show the cut properly.
I came home and immediately washed; dried and straightened my hair because I looked ridiculous, that’s when I noticed the cut wasn’t particularly good.
I’ve been too embarrassed to go back, so will probably keep my hair tied up for a couple of months then go elsewhere.
It’s a shame because my first experience at Cobane was great. other then my bad cut the salon is nice and clean and people do seem quite nice.
