I had the Brazillian Blow Dry at Cobella Kensington. From the moment I got there I was really relaxed.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. The stages of the treatment were fully explained to me and I was extremely pleased with the results. There is no hard sell to but certain products but my therapist advised that the shampoo and conditioner were a good way of prolonging the treatment and making sure that you got the best results.
The only downside of this treatment is that you can't wash your hair for 3/4 days after but saying that my hair still looked lovely after then and not at all greasy.
My hair is much more manageable and softer and I hardly have to use my straighteners. I would certainly have this treatment again but only if there is another voucher!
I got a mob deal on Wahanda for the Brazilian Blow Dry which was a very good deal off their normal price. The discount was almost 70% off.
The receptionist was not very welcoming as she left me on my own for a good 10 mins before she inquired why I was there. She was busy chatting with her colleagues even though I was patiently watiting in front of the reception counter waiting to be served.
The stylist was quite harassed as it was quite busy when I arrived. However she was very polite and offered me a drink and seated me comfortably and discussed what the BBD would entail as it was my first time.
The BBD was ok only as it seemed she was a junior stylist and she didn't feel as experienced for such a specialized treatment. I think I wouldn't have appreciated it as much if I had paid the full £250 and got this level of service. However as it was so cheap, I didn't comment on it too much.
The place is obviously a hair salon more than a spa. I dont think I would be tempted to do a treatment here. Not unless it was a very good deal or promotion on.
I didn't know what to expect, but after a long day at work it was enjoyable. So far I am very happy with the brazilian blow dry and if it continues as it is now then I would have this treatment done again
Excellent salon, great location and my hairdresser Helena was lovely. Great value and a great result. will definitely go back, but only with a voucher though, as the price of a Brazillian blow-dry is quite steep without the discount.
Took about 1.5 hours which was good going, as sometimes it can take 2 hours
I was booked in for a Brazilian blowdry at Selfridges. I got a great mobdeal, it cost £80 and the value was £200. The guy who did my hair was very friendly and looked after me throughout. The procedure was 2 hours long, started with a hair wash, followed by the keratin application. This was then followed by a blowdry and then straighten. When I had my last blowdry the keratin made my eyes burn, this was at Toni and Guy but this time I had no problems, just a pleasant chocolate smell. I am looking forward to Wahanda running another mobdeal on this so I can book it again.
