I had a pedicure and foot message at Coco Nail Bar. The place was nice and the staff professional and pleasant. The pedicure I received was very good. The foot message was OK -- which was disappointing. However, it was the only weak point in my appointment and the rest of the treatment was spot on. Overall, definitely worth giving a try.
Me and my friend went to this salon in the heart of Ladbroke Grove on a Saturday afternoon while the street market was bustling outside. At the entrance of the salon we were greeted by a local DJ spinning old school RnB tracks (strong Destiny's Child presence) who told us he plays in at Coco on Saturday all day, a really nice and usual touch!
We were well looked after and even though we ran about ten minutes late we did not feel rushed. There was a great choice of nail colours and even a UV-looking nail dryer that we could hang out after to speed up the lengthy drying process.
Overall it was a fun, fresh manicure experience and I'd definitely head back on a Saturday to hear more Beyonce while being pampered!
Placed changed a lot in the last year - is not as nice as it used to be both in terms of ambiance, staff or quality of service received. I was not impressed with the not much skilled therapist and the quality of the manicure and pedicure, neither about the only 4 fruit based drink selection included in my package.
This venue is amazing, as soon as you walk in you know you've picked a fabulous London gem. The therapist is very welcoming, cocktails are a lovely touch to the manicure. My friend and I had a great afternoon and my nails still look great one week after.
