This is the first time I've had to leave a bad review on wahanda.
I booked to go into the salon for a Saturday afternoon. I arrived 10 minutes late and although I was disappointed when they said they would not give me a blow dry I accepted it as I was late and understood that this meant they wouldn't rush or compromise on the actual cut. The service was very friendly. However, when I came to the end, they left my hair completely wet which I was pretty shocked at. Furthermore, I later discovered that the hair cut was not what I wanted (no shaping and the layers were too long). I felt very disappointed.
I decided to call the following Monday to see what could be done, I spoke to a very nice man who was understanding and agreed that I could come back in to the salon to have my hair corrected. Problem solved, or so I thought! The following day the hairdresser who actually cut my hair rang me. She was very hostile on the phone, did not apologise that I had had a bad experience but instead seemed annoyed that another hairdresser had agreed to see me again. She told me I wouldn't be able to come in during the weekend eventhough I work during the week. She seemed to be making no effort to resolve the issue and maintain a good customer service. She also mentioned that I should have paid extra anyway to have a blow dry because I have 'a lot of hair'. Although they offered a re - cut I decided to cancel as I was dreading going back in. Really disappointing and a waste of money for me as I've had to book another hair appointment three weeks later.
Love my new hair style is fabulous. Kieth was an absolute doll. The salon was clean, calm and a great experience overall. Already booked my next appointment.
