Normally the staff here are really lovely and chatty but my (new?) manicurist could have been much friendlier. I booked a gel removal and unfortunately I still have flecks of the old varnish on my nails (even after pointing it out). Not sure it was worth £10.
I explicitly told the staff that I don’t want her to use the machine to remove my polish because it significantly thins my nails and makes them brittle. She did not listen and used it on the edges of the nails. As a result, I ended up having broken nails on the areas that the machine has been used on.
I don’t do my own nails and always have my manicure done at salons. This is the first time I ever had my nails ruined to this extent. My hands and nails used to be the way I express myself. After the treatment here, I don’t even want to take my hands out of my pockets.
