Do not visit this salon for a Brazilian Blowdry. The correct process isn't followed and they shouldn't be offering it. I visited for a BB a few days before I was going on holiday and ended up visiting another salon the day I left as there had been no change to my hair. In addition the cut I had during the brazilian was wonky and had to be corrected at the other salon. I contacted the salon owner on the phone and was given a 50% refund for BB which I wasn't happy with, especially after paying another £150 for the treatment again. I have also emailed with photos of my frizzy hair and the wonky cut (no refund) and text to follow up but has been ignored.
The other salon explained the stages and was shocked at the state of my hair - wash, rough dry, apply treatment to dry hair - in-line with the parting and normal direction of the hair. Under heat for 20mins and then without heat for a further 20mins. Blowdry at a very high temp then apply hot irons to small strands so its flat and straight. After care advice included not washing the treatment out for 2-4 days.
My experience at Cool Cuts - wash, not dried, treatment combed through and all hair was pulled backwards so not in direction of parting. Kept on for 30mins or so and then blowdry but didn't feel very hot. No hot irons (which is key to making a BB work). It was then washed out and blowdried again. The stylist then put in rollers.No after care advice.
My stylist at Cool Cuts was lovely and clearly cared but the skills and delivery was lacking.
She did my brows nicely at a great price but I left with red marks on the sides from where the thread cut me. But the price was really good so for that amount I’d go back again, but definitely not if the price goes up
The salon owner is lovely but I don’t think she’s very experienced at this. The top of my hair was blowdried but the bottom layer was still frizzy. It only lasted about a day. Normally they last 3-4
And look quite shiny but this one went frizzy in a matter of 6 hours. Unfortunate
Really quick, incredibly friendly service. The stylist was great and gave exactly what I asked for.
The lady who cut my hair was super sweet and listened to what I wanted. She was quick and efficient. Good value for price :)
