Pre-paid for two girls' cuts on the app and told halfway through the first that the second would cost an extra £15 because her hair was long. This should have been discussed before anything was started so I could have said, "No, I'm not paying £50 for a child's haircut." Had to agree, as I was on the spot, and was later refunded. But I don't agree that cutting a girl's hair from "below bra strap" length to shoulder length is "more work". It was a hair cut, period. Not going back.
Booked 2 haircuts, both had the same length to start, and same style done. Was told halfway through the first that the second would be +£15 b/c her hair was long. Salons only charge this when the resulting hair is esp long or curly. It was BS and I was refunded, but made to feel like they were doing me a favour. Apparently cutting 4 inches and some fringe is considered a "restyle" and commands the extra ££. Funny, but they didn't charge this for both girls, just the one. Won't be going back.
We've previously had good haircuts at Cool Cuts. But my daughter's latest haircut there was wonky and poorly done. I am taking her elsewhere to have it redone and won't be back.
