Had a standard manicure (not gel) yesterday ahead of a friend's wedding. Appointment was meant to be an hour but I was there for 2 hours 15 mins, so ended up missing a train I had booked and having to buy a new ticket for later in the day. Additionally, every nail has already either smudged or chipped, before the wedding's even started, so I've had to just take the whole lot off. What a complete waste of time and money!

The nail polish wasn't applied all the way to the cuticle and also there were areas that were left a bit bumpy on the edges

Really cute little salon and the ladies were absolutely lovely. Sadly the layers in the front were way too high and the hair is a bit lopsided, with the right side being too short. I really liked the atmosphere but I don’t think I’d come back for a hair cut.
