Went in for a Toner treatment on my bleached hair, just to take some of the brassiness out. But my stylist didn't speak that much English so talking about the subtle tonal change I wanted didn't work. Someone came over to translate but was told toner would do nothing, which is slightly odd as i've had this treatment before several times elsewhere, told I had to dye it, which costs considerably more. Won't be going there again.
The hairdresser was quick, it took only 30 mins for wash, cut and dry. I'm quite happy with the haircut, but my style is very simple though. There were a couple of weird things... the hairdresser asked me to stand up and did the hair cut! he kept me standing for like 10 mins, then i was like... 'can i sit down?' and he said ok. This is very weird! I have been to many hair salons and have never been asked to stand for a haircut! And he was very harsh when doing my hair, like pushing the hair brush very harsh on my face, the hairdryer was super hot, and used his hand to lift my chin up without saying 'excuse me' multiple times, and did it very harsh. He was not very rude, but so weird. Very limited communication to the customer. I think he needs more training on interpersonal skill and customer service.
The salon seemed a little disorganised - I was left waiting while they were in the back preparing for the day I'm guessing. My hair was washed well but the actual blow dry aaas disappointing. I wanted a round brush blow dry for a weeding but the result was flat and the end curls fell out after about half an hour. I've had much better blod dries in London - sorry!
