First hairdresser experience in London and very positive. It's a no-nonsense salon, efficiency is the key, and the staff is very nice without being overwhelming. Had a wash, cut, and blow-dry. The wash comes with a little scalp massage that's very nice, then for the cut the stylist listened carefully, explaining what she would do and why throughout the cut, asking for feedback and adjusting as needed. Then the blow-dry made the cut look great, with the disclaimer that the result might look different at home. I picked a senior stylist (Jin) and wanted a similar cut to the one i had so can't say really but I am not sure I would get enough advice to change style/cut (I would usually ask my stylist to suggest something, but then she was particularly creative, specialized in fashion shows). That and the lack of ambiance makes it a 4 and not 5 stars. I will go back without hesitation though, and likely will try more of their services as I'm happy with my haircut

Booked a full hair of highlights (blonde hair) and a cut, was disappointed to be honest. My stylist took a long time, and did not do very fine highlights and missed chunks out along my parting, so after 3 weeks I now need to book an appointment elsewhere to get my roots touched up as they are really starting to show. The cut was fine, I only needed a trim, but I'd avoid for highlights.
Nice place with great location. I had a cut from Matt who was excellent. He listened to what I wanted but he gave me a nice quick cut and styled it great.
Ladies' Haircuts
After 5 years of living in London I found Cutting Edge on the Wahanda website and as there were good reviews and a good deal I went there for a hair cut with Kostas. It was a fantastic cut - similar to how many people say that you don't need to say too much but they know exactly what you're asking for - and they actually do it!
That day I then booked to come back and have my colour done. I spend nearly 3 hours in the chair a couple of weeks later where he produced, again, exactly what I asked for and I am still happy with it now.
Whilst the store itself is small and in an understated part of London, it's very convenient and the attitude and politeness that they bring makes it bar far the best salon I've been too. Definitely won't be going anywhere else anytime soon!
Particular thanks to Kostas who is always fun to chat with and who clearly loves his work, he's a fantastic hair dresser.
