This was a one off for me with my regular hair stylist out of town. I would recommend giving it a try here...A good deal for the price. I have a nice haircut and am pretty pleased with it. However I was done in under 45 minutes whereas the appointment was for an hour and fifteen minutes. And given that my regular stylist showers me with attention, time and effort it felt a bit rushed. Not to fault the end result, it delivered what the deal promised.
I had a full leg and bikini wax. It is now the 4th time I am visiting the shop for waxing. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Therapist was good. Clean environment. Good value for money. I definitely recommend it.
Very good experience. The therapist took great care of me, she was chatting to distract me from the pain -though it was not as painful as other waxes I had in the past. She was very meticulous and really tried to make the wax as painless as possible. The place is small but clean and cozy. Definitely recommended!
The therapist, Sarah was lovely and did a fantastic job. I would definitely go back. Other staff were friendly as well, the place seemed rather small though, but overall the treatment was great.
Having had my hair cut and highlighted beautifully at CV Hair and Beauty before by a stylist who no longer works at the salon, I booked another appointment for a half head of blonde highlights and cut, this time with the salon owner, Ian. I expected great results since he was the owner, but I was quite disappointed with the results. The cut (a simple trim) was ok, but I had to point out a few hairs he'd missed that were still longer than the others. He didn't put the colour on carefully enough and afterwards the roots at the front were still obvious, and the colour was quite patchy and uneven. I felt very self-conscious because of this, especially when I tied my hair back. So much so that I had to go back to the salon a second time to have the front highlights re-done, which was pretty inconvenient as it meant me taking time off work. On the plus side, the woman who washed my hair was very professional, and the salon does have a nice relaxed feel to it and the staff are personable. Having seen another review on here commenting that the salon owner didn't apply the colour that meticulously, I would say although he is friendly enough, he needs to concentrate more on the job in hand rather than be distracted by lots of chatting.
