This is a cute little salon with nice staff. I had a very comfortable therapist, the waxing was great and would definitely recommend it. A good value for little money.
Ladies' Waxing
This was my first appointment at this salon and my first impression of salon was quite disappointing. The salon was entirely empty and the therapist didn't look keen on getting the job done. I had to wait in the salon for 10minutes while my therapist talked to someone on the phone she seemed to know personally and it was rather annoying to wait while she had her private telephone chat.
The therapy room are in the basement which is not the problem, but the set up did not seem very professional but rather quickly done to be able to offer beauty treatments.Even though the therapist herself obviously washed her hands and hence ensured good hygiene level the overall impression of the cleanness was nor very good as the window sill looked dirty and dusty.
The waxing itself was the most painful waxing I ever had and my therapist waxed incredibly very slowly which added to the pain. Also, after the waxing a number of hairs were left which she plucked afterwards. This was so painful as she did not stretch my skin at all while doing so and did it very slowly and going back to different area multiple times as she saw another hair. I know that some hairs may be left afterwards if they are not long enough but this time more than a couple where left and it felt like she plucked quite a lot of my hair even though instead of waxing it. The overall result is good and my skin feel smooth but the treatment itself was rather poor.
I did not expect a top quality salon since the price was low, but I expected a decent treatment and the treatment I received was poor. I am very disappointed and won't be come back.
Again this was a very pleasant experience. Staff kind and professional. I would highly recommend this service. It is already my third time and possibly would like to try other services.
Ladies' Waxing
I had a voucher for a half-head highlights and a haircut. I was 15 minutes late arriving and the salon owner was very understanding. We were off to a good start. The salon itself is small and slightly tired. The equipment is fine but looks like it is now in need of an update. The salon owner coloured my hair and did the hair cut. The highlights were ok but not as good as I have had in other salons. You can see a little re-growth and he did not seem to paint the dye on that meticulously. There was no developer equipment so just had to wait for dye to take. A young girl washed my hair. She was very polite and did an ok job - head massage could have been better however. The haircut was ok, again not one of my better ones. Overall I would say this place is good value for money if you have a deal but not if you are paying full-price.
This was a great experience- pretty much pain free wax, very friendly staff, lovely tidy and peaceful premises. The therapist really took a lot of time and care with me and really made sure I was satisfied with the treatment. I have booked to visit again.
