The salon was clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly - the manicure and pedicures itself were not of great quality and my gel polish had to be redone and I was offered no discount.
My cuticles are now very dry and overall not a great finish.
This place has no charm. That can be a good sign, but no luck here. I was so freaked out by the visible lack of disinfecting any of the tools that I asked my manicurist not to cut my cuticles. He then clucked about this with another manicurist for ages — pretty sure that’s a normal and legitimate thing to ask? The manicure is also sloppy. There’s polish on my fingers and it’s wildly uneven by my cuticles. No cuticle oil applied (to my sad but sanitary cuticles!). Last but not least, the salon alternated between smelling overwhelmingly of acetone and urine. Definitely no diamond in the rough.
