I had the worst bikini waxing experience in Da Silva Hair and Beauty Salon ever! I had been waxing for years now and have been to places that are very good and not so good, but this experience was on a whole new level.
I went for a brazilian bikini wax and was surprised (to say the least) when the receptionist informed me that the person who is going to do the treatment does not speak English. The receptionist took me to the room and told the girl what I wanted and left. I thought it was a bit weird that they would allow people who are not able to communicate with their clients to work there, but at that moment I thought that maybe the girl was very good at her job. To my great disappointment, she did not even understand what brazilian bikini wax means and I had to show her every part that I wanted to be waxed in order to get the result that I wanted, which was very awkward to say the least. On top of that, she did not lock the door of the room where the treatment took place AND someone actually did attempt to walk in! I could also tell that she was really struggling with the waxing itself. I think the biggest shock came when she finished waxing and told me 'okay' to indicate that she has finished the treatment and did not use any waxing removal gel or after wax lotion to help the skin to heal. I just put my clothes on and went out of the room completely shocked about the whole experience. After that, I told the receptionist about how bad the whole treatment went and she offered me to go back to the room and to remove the wax that was left on my skin herself. I had been put in so much distress that I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. The only good thing was that they did not charge me for the treatment.

I recommend this place as they did a great and fast job with the treatment. My hair looked very smooth and the highlights brightened.
I had a Brazillian and a full leg wax, both with hot wax. My technician was very professional and friendly and was able to answer all of my questions, which was important as it was my first professional wax. I was really pleased with the results and haven't had to pluck out any stray hairs, very thorough. And it wasn't nearly as painful as I'd anticipated thanks to the skill of my technician. Will definitely be using their services again.
