I booked a pedicure at Dahlia on Friday night via the Treatwell app. I received a confirmation email of my 10am appointment for the Saturday morning and the money had been debited from my account.
I arrived on time for my appointment but was advised the therapist was running late. By 10:35 I was still waiting, was not offered a refreshment, not received an apology nor had the staff even tried to contact the late employee.
Now a 11:00 (an hour later) I was advised my booking was not in the system and that the therapist in question was actually only starting work at 11:00; the manager apologise as she walked out the door and left for the day.
One of the therapists kindly offered to fit me in and she was very sweet, professional and took pride in her work, she went out of her way to offer a solution to the mix up and i would like to thank her for that (unfortunately I did not get her name).
Service like this is unacceptable, I felt awkward and uncomfortable waiting whilst the manager clearly fumbled around what to say and do which not what you expect when paying for a service. It would appear she was more concerned with leaving at 10H30 am for the day.
