My hair appointment was a one hour slot which is not long enough to wash, cut and dry my hair as it is quite long and thick. As a result I had two hairdressers rushing to dry my hair and was ushered out of the door as the next person was waiting. I did not feel comfortable asking if she could cut the front layers a bit shorter as she was cutting it because it was clear she was rushing to attend the next person. I came home and did it myself which is not the point of going to a hairdressers. It is a shame because it was the first time I was away from my 3 month old baby and I was really looking forward to a relaxing experience, not one where it was clear that I needed to leave as soon as possible so the next person could be attended to.
